Jesus said in John 3:16, "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." This faith is not just intellectual agreement, it leads to action. The biblical response to choosing to follow Jesus is baptism. It's the place where your sins are forgiven and you receive the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit. Baptism marks the beginning of your new life in Christ.
